Wednesday 12 June 2024 Resource Base children have a wild day out Resource Base children from River Mead School, Castle Mead School and Studley Green Primary School had the amazing opportunity for a day trip to visit Longleat on 12 June. The children took an exciting journey around the safari park, seeing a variety of different animals such as lions, rhino, tigers and many more. They also got to enjoy train rides, boat rides, sea lion feeding and see lots of wonderful creatures such as snakes, meerkats, and crocodiles. This great day was finished off with an ice cream, generously provided by the Rotary Club, before they returned to school. The children from all three schools were able to visit together thanks to the generosity of other schools within the Trust in loaning the use of their minibuses for the day. We would like to thank them for enabling this amazing opportunity for the children to come together and experience such a brilliant day.
