EQUA Mead Learning Trust

South West Regional Director Visit

Studley Green Primary School was delighted to welcome Lucy Livings, the South-West Regional Director for the Department of Education, at the end of January, for an uplifting and inspiring visit. The visit celebrated the school’s outstanding commitment to inclusion and its work in supporting disadvantaged students

The day began with a guided tour of the school, where Lucy and her team were warmly greeted by enthusiastic children and staff. They witnessed first-hand the vibrant and inclusive learning environment that Studley Green Primary School has cultivated, with children proudly showcasing their work and sharing their experiences.

Following the tour, our CEO, Paul Skipp, Studley Green Headteacher Jon Edy-Berry, Lyssy Bolton, Deputy CEO and other members of EQUA Mead School Improvement Team were able to talk with Lucy about SEND and Inclusion, as well as showcase EQUA Mead and all the work we are engaged in.  A particular thanks to all the Studley Staff for the planning, preparation and support during the visit. The DfE team all certainly left with a really positive impression.
