School Improvement Team Meeting

Our complete Trust School Improvement Team met for the day on 2 July 2024 to discuss structures for school improvement both centrally, and within our primary and secondary schools. 

The team began by considering Trust quality descriptors for Quality First Teaching, Curriculum and Enrichment and discussing progress on continuous Quality First Teaching across the Trust. They also took a deep dive into leadership effectiveness, and considered what this looks like in action. In particular, the team considered the points made in Simon Sinek's excellent video on the subject:

In the afternoon, the team delved into actions for themselves and the schools, against the key areas of the Quality of Education, Inclusion, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Church Schools Flourishing, Safeguarding, the Effectiveness of Leadership and Management and Early Years Provision.
